Elona Kalesha, the 36-year-old Albanian accused of murdering the parents of her ex-boyfriend, Teuta and Shpëtim Pasho, who disappeared in November 2015, has testified about the macabre event.
Their bodies were found dismembered in December 2020, in four suitcases, on the side of a road between Sollicciano prison and FiPiLi.
In the past, on the occasion of the validation of the arrest in December 2020, Elona used the right not to answer the investigators.
On Friday, for more than seven hours Elona was questioned by deputy prosecutors Galeotti and Beatrice Giunti and by prosecuting attorneys Cristina Masetti and Eleonora Rossi in the Santa Verdiana bunker courtroom.
The suspect recalled the story with Taulant Pashon, which began with a meeting in a bar in 2009 and then culminated in cohabitation since 2012. In 2014, he was in prison and she wrote him a message (“I love you Taulant ! I miss you”) on a wall in front of the Solicciano prison, near the field where the suitcases were found.
"I knew that area, ten minutes from my house, I always went with the dogs", he answered the prosecutor's questions, while adding that "I was not the only one who took the dogs for a walk in those fields.
According to the accusation, the Albanian woman killed her ex-partner's parents to prevent them from telling their son, who had just been released from prison, that she had an abortion in October 2015.
"We conceived a child with Taulanti in Sollicciano, on a date. I terminated the pregnancy on October 27, 2015, and he knew," says Elona.
Taulanti himself testified in court that he did not know about that pregnancy and that they had not had the opportunity to have sex in prison.
Elona Kalesha's trial is expected to end on November 29.
