A 20-year-old Albanian was killed with a bullet to the head on Saturday evening in the Ponte D'Olio province of Piacenza. The name of the victim is not yet known, but the media of the neighboring country write that he was shot near his apartment.
It was the neighbors who alerted the police, who arrived at the scene where they found the young Albanian in serious condition. Although a helicopter was used to transport him, the young man could not survive.
The main suspect for the incident is the victim's 18-year-old brother. He locked himself in the apartment for several hours, refusing to open the door. After numerous negotiations with the police, he surrendered and gave a preliminary testimony in the presence of his lawyer.
The young man said that his brother was accidentally shot in the head with the pistol he had been carrying with him for some time. The younger brother remains one of the main suspects until post-mortems are carried out to determine if it was an accident or intentional.
Suspicions have been raised by the neighbors who told the investigators that after the gun shot they saw some unknown people leaving the apartment.
