A fire broke out in an asylum for the elderly in Tirana during the night, resulting in only material damage.
According to sources, the fire broke out at midnight due to an air conditioner. The elderly remained trapped until the moment when the police, the "Eagle" forces and the fire brigade evacuated them from the asylum on "Ali Visha" street and the flames were extinguished.
The four elderly people ended up in the hospital to receive medical help, but fortunately their lives are out of danger.
The fire caused damage to several rooms of the asylum.
