A special cultural evening took place at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" , bringing to the center two of the greatest voices of Albanian literature, Ismail Kadare and Dritëro Agolli , announced the MEPJ.
Under the title "Albanian Voices in European Literature" , the activity was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in collaboration with the Department of Balkan Studies and brought together diplomats, academics, students and cultural personalities.
The Ambassador of Albania to Bulgaria, Inid Milo, emphasized the two dimensions of writers: Kadare who invites us to think and Agolli who makes us feel, noting that language is intertwined with identity, history, and imagination.
Readings in Albanian and in translation, accompanied by musical performances by students, created a 'cultural bridge' between Albania and Bulgaria, proving that Albanian literature not only travels, but also unites.
The event was also covered by BTA, the central Bulgarian news agency, giving international coverage to this promotion of Albanian culture.
