Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, during a meeting with young people in the 'Ali Demi' area in Tirana, did not spare any jokes, as he demanded that every young man and woman who supports the Socialist Party secure 8 votes from their friends.
" You who are here are not debatable about voting for the Socialist Party. But what I ask of you is that each of you secure 8 more votes, so with your friends, secure 3 wavering, 3 who might fall asleep, these are mainly the guys, and two from the other side, convince them to vote for us ," said Rama.
The socialist leader then joked that those on the other side were very upset because I had said somewhere that you should also convince your boyfriend or girlfriend, even though they may be with the other side, to vote for the Socialist Party on May 11.
"The vote on May 11 is not simply a vote for the Socialist Party, but a vote for the European Union. By voting for us, they will also do themselves honor, as they will go to the EU as European citizens."
If they are wavering, tolerate them, if they say we will vote for the barn owl, leave them, don't look at them with your eyes, punish them, don't give them a second thought. Then, if you love them enough to come back to them, give them some time to repent and come back when they promise you they will not repeat that mistake again.
But that mistake will haunt you for the rest of your life, because on May 11th we will get what we deserve to take Albania to the EU. When you take your passport in your hand, you will say, "I have my eyelid here on this passport too." And they will look at the passport and say, "May my lover live, if it were up to me, I would never enter the EU."
"I'm serious, this is not a joke. We need every vote, we need every connection to be put into the function of this vote. So your power of attraction over those wavering boys must be made available to the homeland to vote on May 11 for the SP," Rama said.
