Prime Minister Rama said that if the Socialist Party had led the country uninterruptedly since 1992, Albania would be in the European Union today.
From a meeting with young people in Tirana, the head of government asked them for their votes for the May 11 elections. He added that he needs great support, just as the Democratic Party was supported in 1992, when the system was changed.
"If the Socialist Party had had the task of leading the country uninterruptedly from 1992 to today, Albania would be in the EU today. It would not have missed the historic opportunity by falling into the abyss."
Every time the SP has taken the lead, the country has been better than before the SP took the lead. What is certain is that, why the SP? Because the SP is here to build, the others are here to damage, to destroy. It's very simple.
Another thing that matters. In 1992, the people united en masse and voted for the DP. Not all of those who voted were with the DP, but a large part of them voted for the Party that was in the right time and place, because the 1992 elections were the time and place when Albanians had to seal the closing of a long chapter of history under a system that they had to finally separate from, and they did separate by giving the DP a staggering majority of support.
