Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, during a meeting with residents of Tirana in the context of the May 11 elections, continued his jokes against the 'Greater Albania Alliance' coalition.
"We don't make Albania great because we look very funny when we say it. We will make Albania a member of the EU, that's all," Rama said.
He then added, "Imagine if on the other hand it wasn't a swamp owl with all sorts of owls and owlets, but were normal. Enough of the fact of a change of hands and the loss of 6 months of time to redo the thing from scratch, the film is finished, negotiations don't close in 2027 because there's no time."
"If they don't close the negotiations in 2027, history could drag on. If they were normal people, it would be a normal alternative."

He further considered the Democratic Party's slogan in these parliamentary elections ridiculous.
"But can this be called "normal", an alternative that is not ashamed to say that it will make Albania great?"
How will they make it great? We don't need to make Albania "great", because that sounds very funny when we say it. We, Albania, will make it a member of the European Union. That's it.
Then, the funniest thing: they go to Peqin and say "we'll make it great", we'll make Puka great, Maliq great, Sharra great... A completely ridiculous story.
