The leader of the Democratic Party delivered his speech at the ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Party. Berisha stated that Rama has robbed the wealth of Albanians and is suffering a second dictatorship.
He stressed that Rama and Soros declared him non grata, while promising to destroy the narco-state. The DP leader adds that Soros' support is rapidly declining.
"Edi Rama has robbed Albanians of their wealth in greater quantities than all the regimes and occupations have robbed in all of history combined. Just like Hoxha and his fathers, he has killed free elections and replaced them with an electoral farce. In every aspect you can grasp, Albania is suffering a second dictatorship, the arrest of opponents, control of the media. If we were founded for political pluralism, for human dignity, the family, the integration of Albania, the reasons we fight are more fundamental, for the salvation of democracy. We fight to save Albania because with the rate of depopulation, we risk complete extinction in the next 5 decades.
We will win. The last few years have been among the most difficult that our political force has gone through. No other opposition would have survived the unfair attacks that were made on us. The birthdays that we have celebrated in recent years have been in difficult conditions. Sometimes without symbols, other times in conditions when its chairman was being arrested. This is the most special anniversary of the last 4 years for every democrat. What we have achieved is a lot and not a little. We had been robbed of the party symbols. We had been unjustly isolated through corrupt lobbies.
Today your leader is the vice president of the largest organization of center-right parties. Rama and Soros declared Sali Berisha non grata and used the political prosecutor's office. The one who made the decision today has been declared non grata in his own country as one of the biggest fraudsters on the planet. They showed us the grass but today the narco-state is crumbling. Support from Soros is falling rapidly ," said the leader of the DP.
