Flamur Noka, Secretary General of the Democratic Party, said that the May 11 elections cannot be recognized by the opposition.
For Top Story, Noka said that all Diaspora ballot boxes for the Tirana District have been filled by hand.
Noka said that from April 14, 1,000 votes were arriving by mail from Greece per day, while later 6,000 votes arrived.
"We cannot recognize these elections."
We never give up. The opposition does part of its duty to protect democracy, but it cannot protect it alone. The vote in the box has not been touched, and I express my gratitude to the commissioners and counters who are counting every vote of the Democrats.
"For me to create an army of patrons and follow every citizen... wherever SPAK is, they have been asked in the diaspora to send them photos," he said.
So far, almost 70% of the votes have been counted, with the SP managing to win 82 seats and the DP winning 52.
