In October of last year, the journalist Gjergj Zefi was hit during a violent attack near the Pamphlet editorial office.
The author of the assassination attempt was arrested and then released by the Court of Tirana for lack of evidence.
Meanwhile, in court, the person who was released stated that the key to his car that was used in the assassination was left at the counter of the Çopjave bar in Elbasan. A clear fact that shows that he was one of the soldiers of this mafia group.
