The host of "Quo vadis" Pranvera Borakaj conducted an interview with the President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, who has been in prison cells "313" in Tirana for more than two weeks.
During the interview, Meta was asked if he is afraid for the future of the party he leads, now that he is isolated? How and is it happening that he accused earlier that the attacks against him are part of the Rama-Basha plan to control the PL?
Regarding these questions, Meta has emphasized that he is not afraid of anyone, and that he has been betrayed by the people he trusted the most.
Borakaj: Are you afraid of your future but also of PL now that you are in the cell? Do you think that Edi Rama made what is considered a pact with Lulzim Basha to scrap your party... Now that some time has passed and you probably think about it more coldly, where do you think you went wrong?
Meta: The future does not scare me at all. Terrified of the future are those who commit this criminal act because they are aware of the monstrous crimes they have committed, not only regarding corruption, which is schizophrenic, but also regarding the national issue and national interests. I wasn't politically wrong, but I was just treacherously betrayed by the people I trusted the most. They defected simply to fulfill their needs under my authority, but had nothing to do with my causes. The future will be better and belong to the brave, not the traitors.
