Police forces did not allow a woman to approach 'Italia' Square, where Prime Minister Edi Rama had called an anti-rally against the civic protest, taking advantage of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party.
The police intervened as soon as the woman approached the square, while her banner read "Are there Albanians in your camp?" and the other said "This is Illyrian land, I am an Albanian by faith."

The woman explained to the media that the messages on her banner are symbolic, while she stated that she was not allowed to approach by the State Police, perhaps thus avoiding an incident.
This is not the first time that security forces have intervened by removing citizens holding banners that could be considered provocative towards Prime Minister Edi Rama.
