The member of the presidency of the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, has announced that today the leader of SPAK has been handed over 653 pages of evidence and documents that shed light on the corrupt affair of the incinerators.
According to him, DP demands the immediate ban on the financing of this corrupt project, with suspicious money. Kelliçi writes that it is up to SPAK to investigate if it is the money of government officials or if it is money coming from criminal groups.
Belind Kelliç's statement:
Today we are officially conveying Mr. Altin Dumani, a complete material (653 pages), the product of a voluminous 4-month work by the Group of Experts of the Democratic Party, for the complete disclosure of the corrupt affair of the incinerators.
In this material, the Working Group substantially assists in the investigation of this matter, especially regarding the false statements given in the Order Letter, by today's shareholders. We are urgently forwarding this material to Mr. Altin Dumani, as we demand the immediate stop of the financing of this corrupt project, with suspicious money, for which it is up to SPAK to investigate if it is money of officials dressed in power, or if it is money of criminal groups like Ndragheta, etc.
Today we are not making any documentation public, as we firmly believe that Mr. Dumani, after today, will take the appropriate legal actions until this affair is fully clarified.
However, we inform you that this material contains authentic data such as:
• Contracts signed between the parties.
• Official documentation which SPAK has not found near the Albanian Institutions.
• Electronic communications between the parties as well as many financial documents.
I take the opportunity once again to thank the many citizens as well as the courageous journalists, who for months have cooperated with the Group of Experts set up by the Democratic Party, even though they have often faced threats and mudslinging from the government propaganda machine.
The Democratic Party remains determined to go to the end of this corrupt affair, which without a doubt has the masterminds and main beneficiaries of the duo Rama - Veliaj, for whom 3 new reports are being prepared before SPAK.
The arbitrary and corrupt power of Edi Rama can appoint the leader of the opposition, can appoint the parliamentary group, can deny the parliamentary investigative commissions, but never its mission. We are determined to vigorously raise public issues of taxpayers' money and seek resolution through any legal means.
The incinerator mega-affair is just one of them.
