The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, has openly come out in support of Erion Braça for the Municipality of Tirana, even though he is in alliance with the Democratic Party.
Invited to the News24 studio, Duka spoke positively about the figure of Braça, emphasizing that he has personal sympathy for him, also due to his commitment to the agricultural sector and the agreement of opinions on several issues.
According to Duka, Braçe stands out for his integrity and experience in politics, which according to him would be an added value for the leadership of the capital.
" I have personal sympathy, maybe because he has also dealt with agriculture and we have similar opinions. He is the right person for the municipality of Tirana. As a person, he is honest, he would do good for Tirana, he has extraordinary experience. In order to put forward a candidacy, the party chairman sees the problems that a candidacy presents. The party's slogan also has votes... I declare, if Braçe comes out, I will give him my vote, he is a person who is worth it. He has more experience and contribution than Rama in the PS. He also has a political nose ", said Duka.
Finally, he suggested that Braça's movements could also be linked to the aim of consolidating support within the Socialist Party, given the sympathy he enjoys within its ranks.
