The vice president of the Democratic Party, Oerd Bylykbashi, calls SPAK's accusations against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha on the issue of privatization of the former Partizani complex, a political blow.
Invited to the show "Opinion" on TV Klan, Bylykbashi says that with the measure "compulsion to appear" and "prohibition of going abroad" for the former prime minister Berisha, the justice system has ignored the Constitution and the article on the immunity of the MP.
" Article 73 of the Constitution, which is about immunity, which states that a deputy cannot be arrested or deprived of his freedom in any form. At the moment when an appearance obligation is imposed, the deputy may be in another country within the framework of his parliamentary agenda, it is limited, that is, the limitation of the parliamentary right. If the prosecutor has the Criminal Code, the citizen of the Republic of Albania has the Constitution and the Code of Criminal Procedure, and these two say that the prosecutor does not dare to do this. I am sure that if Sali Berisha went to the Parliament, he would say "vote me to be removed". With this decision, the justice system has brutally ignored the Constitution. This shows that they have made a decision to avoid Parliament. They dare and violate the Constitution in a brutal way because they have a political goal. They dared to do it because the objective is a political attack. It is the second time that the police entered the PD headquarters. This time SPAK decided to enter politics. We are facing a clear political action to violate the Constitution. This shows the political line of SPAK ready to violate the Constitution ", said Oerd Bylykbashi.
