The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said today in a meeting with journalists that the investigations against Ilir Meta for the CEZ-DIA affair continue.
Regarding the seizure of Monika Kryemadhi's phone, Dumani said that the checks are an instrument to find the evidence.
"Our controls are an instrument to find the evidence. As far as Meta is concerned, it is a matter for which investigations are still being carried out and I have no comment" - declared the head of SPAK.
A few weeks ago, it was reported that BKH officers conducted checks at the offices of the Freedom Party where they seized material evidence.
As far as the evidence is concerned, according to the sources, BKH has seized many documents, as well as mobile phones in which very strong data was found.
Monika Kryemadhi and Ilir Meta have several voluminous files in SPAK. The file that scares the former president the most is undoubtedly that of the CEZ-DIA affair. There was a lawsuit against him by the lawyer Romeo Kara, and SPAK recently interrogated him.
Another file that is being investigated is that of lobbying in the US. The suspicions are that when Meta was the chairman of LSI, he spent nearly 500,000 dollars on lobbying in the USA, money that has not been declared anywhere. Even this amount has many mysteries about its origin.
SPAK is also investigating Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi for numerous aesthetic interventions. The published invoices show that they have spent nearly 300,000 euros for slimming and other interventions, but that the amounts in question have not been declared in the ILDKP.
There are also two lawsuits against them, one for hiding assets and one for corruption and abuse of office. Lawsuits filed by former MP Halit Valteri and journalist Adriatik Doçi.
Meanwhile, it was Halit Valteri who filed a lawsuit for the documents that circulated that Monika Kryemadhi received money from the Russians. There are many documents and many bank receipts that raise many questions.
