The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, spoke about the May 11 elections. He said that no one knows where 130,000 ballots are.
Regarding Alimehmet and Aulon Kala's request for a vote recount, Noka said that this is a legitimate right to demand transparency.
"Specific candidates, starting with Alimehmeti I, Mr. Kalaja and others, have requested a recount from the CEC. However, the electoral code does not allow the candidate the right to request it from the CEC.
And then, since they are demanding, they have their own shadows of doubt and demand transparency, which is a legitimate right of everyone to demand transparency, they have turned to their political force with which they competed, the DP, and then the DP gives them a mandate to represent them, authorizes them on behalf of the DP to demand their right to open the boxes.
Transparency is nothing more.
The farce did not start at the ballot box, the farce ended at the ballot box. The problem is that we, the DP, were born on certain principles and values as a political force. One of these principles is the right of everyone to verify their vote.
When candidates demand transparency, the DP will do everything to provide it to them. There is no doubt or shadow of doubt anywhere here.
"It is an opportunity that has been given to every candidate who has requested transparency. No one knows where 130 thousand ballots are ," he told "Ora News".
