Argita Malltezi del sërish në skenë: Rama ka më shumë

Argita Malltezi spoke about the current political situation in the country. He emphasizes that Albania has slipped into a monocracy, where, according to him, justice is captured and the state is all concentrated in the hands of Edi Rama.

Malltezi adds that Rama has more power than Ramiz Alia in the 1991s.

Interview of Argita Malltez:

Krasta: I would have liked to understand now also a process of change that finds man in the passing of decades. The word comes from me personally, it has been known, I have had opposing attitudes towards the government. So, I was against Mr. Berisha's referendum in '94, I was generally active when he was prime minister twice in the country. Since London, I have had nuances, that at the BBC you are not allowed to take positions, but the nuances existed, contrary to Prime Minister Meta. As soon as I arrived in Tirana, I gave statements against Prime Minister Nano. And obviously I have taken very harsh positions towards Prime Minister Rama. I seem to you now a better journalist than in '95, better, or the same?

Malltezi: What I appreciate a lot, not only in your case, but in general is the maturity of people who, from different political perspectives, from different areas of life, but in this case in the media, have decided to stay and contribute to Albania for values that remain universal. Beyond the political lines, it is not that the DP is facing the SP. We are facing a culture that is against the values of this country. Which has led to the depopulation of the country, which has led to the seizure of justice. Which has led to the overthrow of the rule of law. And anyone who stays shows a prudence in addition to a highly developed civic responsibility. So, regardless of where anyone stood at a given moment, there are many actors of public life today who have stood, perhaps even at the extremes of the political spectrum, but today we unite in a common fight against, not against a political force, not to a political philosophy, but to an ideology that is different from what we have known before. An ideology that aims to change us in our DNA as a people. To remove the Albanians from the country. To steal the properties of Albanians on the coast, in the mountains, in mines, in springs wherever they are. For what kind of agenda... I say that they are all gathered, because in their point of view, which is different from that of someone else, they see the negative product of what this government offers as an agenda.

Krasta: Argytes, you just crossed Albania. I remember that we all did not believe 10 years ago when these agendas were being talked about. In that sense, from your point of view - Is Albania in an irreversible zone?

Maltezi: Nothing is irreversible in life! Nothing is set in stone! It is understood that some things are very difficult to recover, it takes more work. But I think that a person only has the will and there is nothing for which he cannot improve the situation. I am not saying that I am not saying that it does not achieve what it wants, I would normally say that it does not achieve what it wants, but in the most conservative case I would say that it improves the situation. So this is something that only requires political will. And if you will allow me, I will say something: Albania today is much worse than what I summarized at the beginning. Because we have slipped into a narco-dictatorship. Or in a mobocracy he calls Huntington. Why? The gangs not only have ties to power to serve each other, but have already penetrated the economy. Some time ago, investigative journalists gave a figure, 3.8 billion are investments in construction, of which only 800 million came from the banks. So, 3-billion have come out of the underground world that it is not known how they are, where they came from. This alone is enough to understand how true it is that drug cartels, foreign and Albanian, launder money with investments in Albania.

Justice is captured, the state is concentrated in the hands of one man, Edi Rama, for his agenda, for broader agendas, this is another thing.

He controls justice, controls powers more than Ramiz Alia controlled in '91. Who is the result? The result is not only the arrest of Sali Berisha, Fredi Beleri, the proceedings of Ilir Meta, Fatmir Mediu, i.e. the entire opposition spectrum. No! The result has knocked and will knock more Albanians at the door of the house by stealing their properties on the coast, for some strategic investor, they will take their properties in the mountains, they will take their mines, natural resources. I was watching the news a few days ago about changing the course of the river to take water out of the state and a state can do that too, but not when less than two hours away a village comes out and protests and says please two hours a day, I saw the chronicle that the residents had come out and did not ask for more, two hours of water a day is minimal. So this is all a catastrophic situation that as I said we have slipped into. We didn't get there one morning and we saw that the enemy had come to the door of the house. We slept in those years when the weak who had no money to pay for the lights were first attacked, then we laughed when the depopulation started gradually, (suburban areas)...until the evil became more powerful than in. But people I think stay, I think they can stay to achieve what they want.
