Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku commented on today's session of the Assembly, as she spoke about the changes of ministers by Prime Minister Rama.
Tabaku asks if the five changes have brought any change in the income of farmers, middle class or workers?
She also stated that 5 finance ministers have been replaced and nothing has changed in the pockets of the citizens, adding that the system and governance must be changed.
"Today, the majority voted for some changes in the government, the next changes where the Minister of Finance was voted for the sixth time, changed. Will this bring a new economic model, a new impulse in the economy, an economic development that Albania has lacked so far? Will this bring support for the middle class, which has been overtaxed for ninety-five percent of Albanians, who have suffered tax increases in these eleven years? Will there be a different model for farmers?
A new subsidy support? What about the elimination of VAT, an excessive burden that has existed in recent years, will this have a support for the fashion industry?
Which today is one of the sectors that is in bankruptcy as the results of the former evaluation of the euro, will this bring a different model? except for the development of the construction of towers, to focus from the economy of the minority to the economy of the majority The answer is no, it will not bring any change, just as the first six ministers did not bring the first six changes, just as they did not it will bring no other change in the government.
The system set up unfortunately is a function of the minority: an economy in the service of the elites, an economy that unfortunately no longer produces anything no matter who they put in, no matter how they put in a rotten system, with corruption that unfortunately has today forced Albanians to leave en masse . The answer, of course, is the change of the system, but the change of government" , said Tabaku.
