Democratic MP Dashnor Sula is against the Democratic Party being led by Argita Malltezi, the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Invited to A2 CNN, with journalist Bruna Çifligu, Sula said that this would mark a decline of the opposition cause. He is of the opinion that Sali Berisha will have to withdraw for the good of the opposition and if he does not do this, he says that the fault would be his alone, handing over the victory to Edi Rama.
" Even Ms. Malltezi, her contribution would be welcome, but not the leader of the PD and the entire opposition, it would be a strong decline of the opposition's cause, if it was an inherited family party, I don't believe in these things, it's not the opposition prepared or the contribution of Malltez to be tested, we did the test with Lulzim Basha and it came when it came.
I believe and have conviction that the opposition has another path and I think that Berisha will seize this moment to leave the opposition, if he will leave the opposition in this state, then it is Berisha's fault. This reaction comes after Argita Malltezi, invited to the Debate with Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, said that she did not rule out the possibility of becoming the head of the Democratic Party.
