The head of PD Sali Berisha has commented in a statement to the media, the arrest of former president Ilir Meta.
Bertisha called Meta's arrest a brutal and extreme act.
"The past week marked the brutal climax of the narco-dictatorship in Albania, the face of the narco-state came out with the well that took the former president, the former prime minister, the former speaker of the parliament and the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, with all the ugliness her before the world.
But Edi Rama, like a real Macbeth, tried to use these brutal acts of violence against the opposition with a fraud of Macbethian proportions against the Albanian pensioners", said Berisha.
