Democratic MP Luciano Boçi, during his speech today in the Assembly, supported the concern raised earlier by MP Ina Zhupa, emphasizing that the issue of the arrest of a well-known official in European institutions like Federica Mogherini constitutes a problem for citizens.
" Not just a European official has been arrested, but the director of the European College, who you have been holding out to us for years as an example of success, even though she has seized the land of the public university of Tirana ," Boçi declared.
The Democrat MP also sought clarification on the interruption of the speech of the leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, by the leaders of the parliamentary session. "Why did you turn off Shehaj's microphone?", he said.
Boçi also focused on the government's economic packages, harshly criticizing the so-called "fiscal peace", which according to him has also been opposed by European institutions because it directly harms the finances of Albanian families.
" Fiscal peace touches the pockets of every citizen and the European institutions have clearly stated this," he said.
