Interior Minister Taulant Balla has spoken in parliament, the agenda item is the anti-corruption resolution proposed by the SP. Balla said that he is convinced that the fight against corruption in the country will continue.
Balla expressed his regret that the opposition has not shown absolute support for this resolution, as he called the actions of the opposition, who waved the photo of Berisha, while Rama was speaking in the Assembly, ridiculous.
"There is no more funny scene for the opposition when the Assembly is called to a rare session like today. While the country's prime minister talks about the resolution, some of the opposition MPs wave an ugly picture of a person declared non grata by the USA and Great Britain, for having undermined democracy. Today I want to tell the Albanian citizens that we are at an important moment in the fight against corruption and the results achieved are only the beginning of ending impunity. Some of you are still in time to separate yourselves from the old era. Albania's path to the EU is inalienable", said Balla.
