Bardhi breaks silence on May 11: DP candidates were intimidated, the prosecution

Gazment Bardhi broke his silence about 45 days after the May 11 elections, where the DP recorded one of its deepest losses, while the head of the Democratic Parliamentary Group was a political leader in the Fier District, where the opposition only received 4 mandates.

Bardhi has raised accusations that the entire state, including the police and the prosecution, were at the service of the Socialist Party.

On the show 'Log', Bardhi said that the May 11 elections were not fair and equal.

According to him, the Democratic Party was facing not only the political power, but also other structures that, according to him, are in the function of the Socialist Party. Bardhi emphasized that the DP candidates have been intimidated by politics and criminal groups, specifically mentioning the case in the Fier region, but according to him this is reflected throughout the country. He accused segments of the Prosecutor's Office of collaborating with gangs.

"The DP faced the state and its other dark sides. The competition was not fair. It is not possible to have crime, the police and certain segments of the Prosecutor's Office together. There is no competition under these conditions."

If I had a gang in front of me, I would have to turn to the institution and the institution would not respond, because it is a party in front of me. Just imagine what the race was like on May 11. We called the police and they did not respond. The police were at the service of the SP. Our candidates were intimidated by the police, but also by crime. I am talking about the Fier region, but I believe it also happened on a national level," said Bardhi.
