The official Democratic Party headed by Lulzim Basha is expected to convene the National Assembly on September 2, at the "Asllan Rusi" Sports Palace.
As previously stated by the re-elected head of this political force, Lulzim Basha, the statutory changes are the most important decision-making expected to emerge from this Assembly, together with organizational decisions and a political agenda of the party.
More concrete things about the organization anyway, the democratic deputy, Kreshnik Çollaku, has shown, where he first informed that the Assembly will seek to have a unifying function of the right, even though it has not been accepted at any time by the grouping of Sali Berisha, or other deputies, who do not belong to the two fragments and have distanced themselves.
There will also be a starting point for the confrontation that the DP will have with the Government in the coming months.
After September 2, according to Çollak, DP is expected to make an assessment of the situation and a formatting of all internal party structures.
"In addition to an assessment of the political situation in the country, the situation with the many political developments requires a response from the Democratic Party in a structured form", he underlined.
In the debates that are foreseen during the works, it is also expected that there will be statutory discussions, which are related to the operations and which will take into account the positive and negative experiences of the DP in these opposition years, in order to reformat the structures.
"It will also be a process that will be stratified, the foundations of new party structures will be laid. A movement is expected that will affect every segment and every structure of the Democratic Party from the center to the last cell", said Çollaku.
Meanwhile, the expectations of the Basha group, which also represents the legal official party, for the number of people present in the Assembly, remain unclear.
