According to him, the principles and values that unite the democrats are the compass that guides the uncompromising fight against corruption and strengthening the partnership with Albania's strategic allies, the USA, the EU and Great Britain.
" We have stood firm in defense of Western values, clear that what is not good for Albania cannot be good for the Democratic Party. This resistance is also the greatest proof of our determination to bring a radical change to the country by opening the political competition through: open lists, guaranteeing the integrity of politicians through vetting, balancing institutional life through limiting the terms of the prime minister, encouraging the participation in the life of the country, of those who work and sacrifice outside our borders, through guaranteeing the vote of the diaspora ", said Basha.
