The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Myslym Murrizi, has commented on the sexual scandal of the resigned mayor of Kuka, Safet Gjici.

Through a note on his Facebook account, he announced his resignation and spoke of being entrapped by opponents. He blamed the girl in the video, whom he said he had a long-time crush on. In addition to claiming that they have set a trap for him, he said that he had betrayed the trust of the citizens of Kukes who had voted for him for his second term as head of the Municipality. With his dismissal from the post of mayor, it is expected that new elections will be held in Kukës as well.
