DP MP Dashnor Sula states that 6 out of 7 municipalities in the Elbasan district are unrepresented in the May 11 elections.
During a post on social media, Sula focuses on the Democratic Party primaries, stating that 'the democrats of the Peqin, Belsh, Cërrik, Gramsh municipalities chose the candidate they wanted to represent by selecting the one with the most votes in the district.
Further, Sula adds that 'in the blue headquarters, the "SPAK members" are problematic and should be excluded from the closed and open lists.

In the 2021 elections, the municipalities of Peqin, Belsh, Cërrik, Gramsh, Librazhd, and Përrenjas gave the Democratic Party 26,583 votes, enough for three mandates of deputies in Parliament.
But despite this very important fact, after May 11, these citizens will not have any representatives in Parliament because there is no candidate representing these areas on the closed list of the Democratic Party of Albania in Elbasan.
In the Democratic Party primaries, the democrats of the Peqin, Belsh, Cërrik, and Gramsh municipalities chose the candidate they wanted to represent by bringing out the most voted candidate in the district, but in the blue headquarters, the "SPAK-ists" are problematic and should be excluded from the closed and open lists.
"Despite my continued efforts to contact the mayor and others close to him over the last week regarding the lists, the decision was made by them that these municipalities would rather not have any representatives than for me to be the one," Sula writes.
