A process of scandalous proportions is taking place these days, when oligarchs fattened by Edi Rama, greedy to absorb all power, seek to seize Justice as well.
Rrok Gjoka, one of the cronies who swallows billions of budget, brother-in-law of Gazi (Demi) of Olsi, has requested prison for the former director of the Albanian Regional Agency for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, Sonila Qato, as well as to receive compensation of 7 billion lek.
Gjoka's lawyer has filed a complaint with SPAK Qaton, as according to them, a great injustice has been done to them.
So what is this injustice?
The contract for the Kardhiq road was simply awarded to another company. A completely normal administrative decision, which if there are administrative problems, should be resolved by the relevant committees or audits and supervisors.
So what does SPAK have to do with why the tender was not given to Rrok Gjoka?
SPAK investigates and should investigate whether there is bribery, corruption, or crimes related to it, but not to deal with the humor of an oligarch who endlessly swallows billions of the state budget for a large slice of contracts, and who we were upset about not getting Kardhiq.
From a legal perspective, this is a huge scandal as the Special Prosecution Office against Crime and Corruption cannot deal with inequality or irregularities in tenders. It has nothing to do with this work, unless there is evidence of corruption or bribery.
It is not possible that these monsters who have captured the head of government, also capture the Justice. In this case, SPAK should punish Rrok Gjoka who cannot use the right to denounce just because he did not receive a tender. There are other administrative levels, even the Administrative Court that adjudicates issues of conflicts between private entities and the administration.
