Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his meeting with Albanians in Athens, did not leave aside jokes directed at Sali Berisha, the Democratic leader.
Rama said that this swamp owl reigns in a scum that has hindered Albanians and has hindered Albania for so many years.
" This owl sitting on top of the slush is a legacy from the communist dictatorship. This barn owl admitted that he is an owl, but he told us stories about the Greek gods. He even thinks he is handsome, but you know how super sexy the barn owl is ," said Rama.
The socialist leader then stated that on May 15-16, the leaders of EU countries, the Secretary General of NATO, and the leaders of countries outside the EU will come to Tirana. "Imagine Europe and NATO talking to the short-eared owl," said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that the swamp has serious problems with arithmetic.
Rama said that they are lying as if the SP did not open 300 thousand jobs as it had promised, while he responded with figures, saying that today there are 1 million and 327 thousand employees in Albania.
" When you go there to learn what is happening in Albania, among the many ridicules, there is also the ridicule that when we took office we promised 300 thousand jobs and this did not happen. It is enough to look at the state registers, where in fact the employees are registered by name and surname.
There were 1 million and 23 thousand Albanians who were listed as employed, while in the payroll register today there are 1 million and 327 thousand. We all know that the swamp has serious problems with arithmetic, but I believe that arithmetic says that between 1 million and 23 thousand and 1 million and 327 thousand there is a little more than 300 thousand difference in the number of employed people in Albania today , "said Rama.
The head of government in his speech mentioned a meeting he had with a taxi driver in Athens on the day he arrived for the meeting. The taxi driver had said that according to him 'when they came to Greece they were 100 degrees below, and today they are one degree below'.
" They told me that during today's meetings they encountered something more or less common among the Albanians of Athens, they all started asking themselves if they want to return or not?"
Whether the question you ask is encouraging
I liked the expression of a taxi driver, when we arrived we were 100 steps down, today we are one step down. Today we are here to climb the last step.
I am very glad that today we have come here to share with you not only what we have done, where we have never been. To place Albania in a foreign position. They no longer look down on us, but respect us for who we are. On the other hand, to return Albania to a dream that does not seem as distant as it once did. Today, Albania is a country that has its own destiny in its own hands. It is not at anyone's mercy but has its own destiny.
"The schools didn't even have any more sidewalks, all those Albania road plans were left behind. The remaining roads were languishing and they were at risk of bankruptcy. Albania has its debt under control ," Rama said.
