The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has asked Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali to extend the deadline of the Investigative Commission for Concessions in Health.
During his speech in the Assembly, Bardhi addressed Beqaj as a thief, as he said that the former minister dared to threaten the members of the Commission, the opposition MPs.
He also expressed a request for the investigation of this case, as he repeated the call for the postponement of the deadline, one week for the investigative plan and the testimonies, and 2 weeks for the preparation of the report.
Meanwhile, Spiropali recalled that the deadline had been postponed twice and the opposition had dragged it out, not allowing the witness to speak. Bardhi said that Spiropali is worried that "the two-meter thief is Rama, but no, we had him for Ilir Beqaj, not for the prime minister".

Why don't you become the spokesperson for the Constitution, the law and the regulation to give the opposition more time to continue the work, because your deputies are too lazy to work, while theirs is to review the decision. Spiropali: The request that came was presented to the conference of presidents and why was there no intermediate decision. You have killed the Commission, you have not allowed the opposition to do its work. Today, the final report of the Commission had to be discussed, so your decision-making is against the law, the Constitution and the rules of the Parliamentary Commission. Gather the conference and extend the deadline of the Commission, let's give it another two weeks for the report and one week for the investigation, a total of 3 weeks and agree, so as not to hinder the commission's work.
Beqaj did not voluntarily come and answer to the Commission, he has a legal obligation. What happened is that Beqaj will give his testimony according to the rules that he sets himself from the cell, but the Commission functions according to the law, regulation and procedure. To be in accordance with the law, not according to the rules set by Ilir Beqaj, he will speak according to the rules of the functioning of the Assembly. He may also have a tank with the barrel aimed at the opposition MPs to intimidate them, but to testify. You can't go with a projector to testify, you don't take a power point or a card machine with you, but you are subject to the procedure, not the rules you set yourself. Allow the continuation and extension of the deadline of 3 weeks of the Investigative Commission, quite reasonable for the report, so that we respect the Constitution of the republic.
