DP leader Sali Berisha spoke at the DP Presidency meeting, as we are only two days away from the constitution of the Assembly resulting from the May 11 elections.
Although Berisha has declared that he will not recognize the elections, he has confirmed the DP's participation in the Assembly on September 12th.
The leader of the Democrats has completely ruled out the option of not entering parliament.
"Recognizing these elections would make the DP co-author of the ugliest farce in 32 years, by demanding this from the Presidency, I know that there is a debate to take, to take part in the parliament. I tell you personally, I think that in this dictatorship we should not leave any empty space from which we do not fight against it. And if there is one fundamental thing that is required of each of us, it is a change that is required, how will we change in relation to the narco-dictatorship and the criminal organization that has usurped power. What will be our new stance. None of us have done as much as we could. Now rebranding is required, change is required in front of this mountain of electoral farce. Our battle requires new energies, forces and new forms. Not entering the parliament is not an option, no, it is not better", Berisha said.
