Berisha warns of rallies across the country: We will not stop until Rama leaves
Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, a day after the opposition protest, declared that under the conditions of Edi Rama's government there cannot be peace and stability in the country.

During a media conference, Berisha warned that the protests will continue and will spread throughout the territory of Albania, emphasizing that they will not stop until the prime minister leaves.

According to him, rallies will take place wherever there is civic discontent, while adding that "the regime will face strong popular resistance."

"The citizens of Tirana and all of Albania honored in the most magnificent, most solemn, most dignified way March 22, the first day of democracy, with their powerful demonstration under conditions of a narco-dictatorship, electoral autocracy or authoritarian dictatorship. Albanians showed yesterday that they are invincible from this narco-dictatorship.

I think that with their protest they represented the revolt, the anger of an entire nation.

Never before has the peaceful uprising of Albanians been more powerful than yesterday in the streets of Tirana. The message is clear: in Albania, under the autocracy of Edi Rama's rule, there is and cannot be peace and stability.

Our battle will only know escalation. It will encompass all of Albania and will be uninterrupted until the final removal of this criminal organization led by Edi Rama.

"That's why I have boundless gratitude for all those tens of thousands of citizens who filled the streets and boulevards of Tirana yesterday and protested in a dignified manner," said Berisha.
