Democratic leader Sali Berisha has published on social media footage from the protest held on Sunday evening in Tirana, and expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their resistance. Berisha writes that the opposition is sworn and determined to continue the peaceful uprisings.
Meanwhile, in another message, the democratic leader expresses his boundless gratitude to the citizens who protested.
"I guarantee Albanians that this peaceful uprising will not stop until complete triumph: The removal of this criminal organization from the government headed by Ramaduro," Berisha writes.
The March 22 protest was accompanied by several incidents, with protesters throwing Molotov cocktails and fireworks, while police responded with tear gas and water cannons.
