Berisha regrets the deal with Rama in 2008: Let's change the Constitution tomorrow

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reflected for the first time on the Constitutional changes made in 2008.

Invited to A2 CNN, in "Debate" by Alba Alishani, Berisha said that he is completely ready to change the electoral system, stressing that he has no objection to making changes to the Constitution.

" I completely agree, let me change the electoral system from tomorrow. I have no objections, even the article of the Constitution. When Edi Rama accepted this, he was in the opposition and yesterday at the meeting I expressed that I agree if it is decided to change the electoral system, if it is decided to change the articles of the Constitution established in 2008, let's change them", said Berisha . .

His signature is absent from the proposals made by the head of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, aimed at changing the system and the Electoral Code. Berisha said that he did not sign it because they did not bring it to him as a document, but adds that he is ready to change it.

"I signed it immediately, they didn't bring it, yesterday I asked the group to support it ," said Berisha on A2 CNN.
