Democratic leader Sali Berisha, during a meeting with Democrats from Unit 5 in Tirana, said that the protests have become the voice of Albania throughout the nation and around the world.
Berisha said that the May 8 protest will be extremely important.
"We are tired, we are exhausted, but these protests became the voice of Albania throughout the nation and throughout the world. If we had not stood, we would not be the opposition today. If we had not stood, the absolute power of Edi Rama would have sown terror in all four corners of the country.
"If we had not stayed, people would have spoken like racist anti-Albanian lobbyists spoke a month ago, paid by Edi Rama, according to whom, AKSHI, a state enterprise where businessmen who submit offers are taken hostage, is Albanian culture," said Berisha.
He said that the opposition protests are not only the true voice of Albanians, but also of faith in Albania and the future.
Ike ore mashtrues klasi! Keto protesta i ben formalisht sa te rimarresh kreun e PD. Ti je ai qe mban Ramen ne pushtet dhe Rama te ndihmon tyja te jesh portieri perjeteshem i PD.
