Salianji used harsh tones towards Noka, accusing him of servility and "armchair" attacks.
Former Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, has responded to the DP's Secretary General, Flamur Noka, after the latter's statements on social media, where he described Salianji as a "man with Botox" and accused him of "posing as an opposition member", but not attacking Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In his reaction, Salianji used harsh tones towards Noka, accusing him of servility and "armchair" attacks.
"Flamur Çupëlina, this puppy who thinks he's Sali Kolltukut's bulldog, speaks without thinking and writes without understanding what he's saying," writes Salianji.
Further, the former Democratic MP states that he has stood up to the government and faced the political and personal consequences, unlike his political opponent within the DP.
"I stood up to the regime and confronted them where and when they wanted, unlike you, who became a spy for the Serbs because you couldn't stand prison," says Salianji.
The former MP also reminded Noka of an episode in Fier prison where he said he was scared and needed a companion. "We dressed him in a dress and gave him a companion!", said Salianji.
Further, Salianji accuses the current leaders of the DP of having turned the party into a structure where, according to him, servility is rewarded and those who "really confront the regime" are attacked.

The biggest problem with the DP today is that it has clowns like you and has turned into a factory where servility is rewarded, the grotesque is placed on a pedestal, and those who truly confront the regime are attacked.
"The time of the sycophants who live by orders and privileges is ending. Who keeps the prison is proven, but how the entire DP keeps the shame that keeps you as leader, this is the drama of the DP and society, and for this I will continue to fight," writes Salianji.
