The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has once again challenged Prime Minister Rama by inviting him to a public debate. While the latter has rejected the debate, saying that he "will never accept such a thing."
During a meeting in Pogradec as part of the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections, Berisha responded to the statements of the majority, which has placed his age at the center of their attacks.
The DP leader emphasized that politicians should be judged on their deeds and abilities, not on their age.
"Rama has ordered his lackeys to focus the debate on Sali Berisha's age. Ronald Reagan said that he did not want to use his age as an advantage over his opponent. Since they mention age, I say: come here and let's face each other in all areas, so that we can see what knowledge you have and what your memory is that writes on your hand about things you don't remember ," Berisha said.
Berisha stressed that every political leader should be evaluated based on his results and commitment to citizens, accusing Prime Minister Rama of avoiding discussion about the country's real problems.
