US President Joe Biden has made the last steps before leaving office on January 20. Today he honored philanthropist George Soros with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States.
"As an immigrant who found freedom and prosperity in America, I am deeply moved by this honor," said George Soros. "I accept it on behalf of the many people around the world with whom the Open Society Foundations have made common cause over the past 40 years," he said.
The medal was received by his son, Alex Soros, due to his father's serious health condition.
But most likely this decision will be commented by the former prime minister Berisha. For a long time he claims that he was declared "non grata" by Soros and now with the award of this medal, he has clear proof of Biden's cooperation with the philanthropist.
