Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido has accused the opposition of a lack of engagement in the protest held on May 30 in Zvërnec, claiming that its reaction came only after the issue received public attention.
During his speech in the Assembly, Bido singled out the Joint Movement, while criticizing opposition forces for what he described as an attempt to politically benefit from citizens' dissatisfaction.
"Where were you, the theater? Why did you remember the next day when you saw that you had public sentiment and how to exploit public sentiment?" said Bido.
The Socialist MP also raised the issue of ownership in the Rrjoll area, accusing the opposition of avoiding discussion about the legal owners of the land and not mentioning specific names.
According to him, the opposition is silent due to political ties with businessman Bashkim Ulaj, while not speaking about the families who claim ownership rights in the area.
" You are unbelievable! You didn't speak when it was time to speak, you came out and showed us today! Sit down, Sit down, Sit down, why did you sit down? When you have names here, come out and speak with names! The Moçka tribe, the Balliu tribe have the right to ownership! Why don't you say it? Because you don't have the courage, because you are hypocrites!", Bido concluded.
