Former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji has reacted sharply regarding the blockage of the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis, as a result of rockfall.
In a reaction on social media, Salianji has made strong accusations against the government, emphasizing that this is a result of lack of maintenance and corruption.
"It is shameful that in 2026 a national axis like Librazhd - Përrenjas is completely blocked for hours. Not from some extraordinary disaster. But from a lack of maintenance.
From negligence. From corruption. For more than two hours, the entire southeast was left isolated, as if it were not part of this country. Citizens stranded on the streets. Ambulances waiting. Businesses paralyzed. Families at risk.
This is the real picture of misgovernment. When funds are stolen and propaganda becomes a priority, the roads collapse and the state disappears. A state is not measured by facades and posts.
"It is measured by roads that work. With safety. With responsibility. Albanians do not deserve isolation. They deserve a government that works," Salianji wrote in reaction.
