'Abandon emigration, return to Albania', Rama appeals to Albanians:

Prime Minister Edi Rama has appealed to Albanians in the diaspora to return to Albania and invest their savings. He said that he is not making this call out of morality, but because we live in a world that is getting smaller and smaller.

In episode 14 of season 4 of the podcast "Flasim", Rama chose to address the topic of Albanians who have "abandoned" migration and returned to live and work in Albania.

Today's three guests were Lolita Lumi from Dukagjini, Aleksandër Çifligu from Tirana, and Besniku from Divjaka, each of whom shared their personal experiences on this journey.

Prime Minister Rama stated that the momentum that Albania is experiencing is precisely the time that Albanians in the diaspora should consider returning to their country.

"It is time to seriously consider return, but at the same time a time when many people fiercely oppose this idea. All three come from different geographies and walks of life, but they are united by the idea of repentant emigrants. Of course, the experience of emigration has had its value, it has helped them to get to know the world and learn," said Rama.

He also focused on the "Mountain Package" and the opportunities it offers with a 10-year tax exemption for the first 500 applicants.

"Take and study the mountain package, the first 500 applicants for 10 years do not even have taxes. I am not with the idea that I want to moralize others and everyone makes their own choices, we live in a new world that is becoming smaller and smaller," he said, while closing today's episode with the words: The time has come to unite, all of us in our country.
