The Municipality of Vlora continues to be involved in political movements and unusual resignations. Elis Halili, who held the position of deputy mayor and then as acting mayor for about two months, has today submitted his official resignation from the position of deputy mayor.
Halili took over the temporary leadership of the municipality after the sudden departure of Ermal Dredha, who resigned without much explanation, just a few months after the local elections in May. During this period, Halili remained at the head of the institution until the completion of the procedures for replacement and the constitution of the newly elected mayor, Brunilda Mersini. But it seems that today he has left.
