In the "Log" studio on News24, during Agron Shehaj's speech, the DP candidate, Salvador Kaçaj, intervened, reminding him that he was elected with the votes of the Democrats.
But Shehaj responded that those Democrats in 2021 voted for him to be the Chairman of the DP, but the ballot boxes were filled and Lulzim Basha won.
"We've been doing surveys every week lately. We do them for ourselves, not in comparison to others. I wouldn't be objective," said Shehaj.

Shehaj: I was honored by the mandate given to me by the Democrats. If they didn't agree with the new political movement, they wouldn't support me.
Kaçaj: What have you been honored for?
Shehaj: I have denounced more scandals than anyone else...
Kaçaj: Those who believed you were from the DP...
Shehaj: No, they are Democrats. If they did not agree to create a new political force, then they would not trust me. In 2021, they wanted me as the Chairman of the Democratic Party and you wanted the one whose name you do not even mention today (Lulzim Basha). Senior exponents of the Democratic Party filled the ballot boxes for that chairman.
