The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has given some figures on the categories of convicts who benefit from the criminal amnesty bill.
In a statement for "Repot TV", Manja said that if the draft law is approved, 400 convicts will be released immediately, 1120 convicts will benefit from reduced sentences, 1 year for men and 1 and a half years for women will also benefit 2500 people who are in probationary service.
" We have accurate figures on those who benefit. If this draft amnesty law is voted, about 400 people convicted by the court of general jurisdiction will benefit and 1120 people will benefit from a reduced sentence, while about 11 thousand people who are on probation, the category of beneficiaries of this amnesty will be 2500 people , Manja said.
