The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has returned to the media after a few weeks of absence from public attention. In addition to the public appearance, another piece of news was the further distancing of Meta from his former ally, Sali Berisha.
This kind of division was noticed during a television interview, where the former president commented on the decree of the amendment of the law for the establishment of the Investigative Commissions by President Bajram Begaj.
In a completely different course from that of Berisha's group, who stood up and attacked President Begaj, Meta said that the decision of the Head of State was right.
He emphasized that every president has his independence, while adding that two presidents cannot hold the same position on the same issue.
