The sniper murder of Gëzim Sinomat in Vlorë has alerted the police of this city. After the analysis carried out in this police station, the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla warns of arrests of the perpetrators or the suspects.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla has warned of arrests regarding the sniper execution of Gëzim Sinomat. In a meeting in Vlora, Balla adds that the investigations have revealed the incident and the arrest of the perpetrators is expected.
"As for order and security, I often say it, I have also said it in this analysis, that despite the good work we can do throughout the year, one serious criminal event is enough to bring back the concern of the citizens of Vlora from the nightmares of the past. So, in this respect, I want to inform you that we have done a deep analysis and also to guarantee you, the citizens, but also to tell the people involved in such criminal events, that we are very close to the solution of these criminal events .
Sinomat's murder? I just told you, maybe you weren't paying attention. It is a serious criminal event, for which the general director of the police is personally committed to its pursuit, together with the local director and other leaders of the general directorate, I believe that on the main track we have we will go towards documentation and arrest of the authors", added Balla.
In this way, it seems that the cause of Sinomat's assassination has also been clarified.
Balla further requested increased measures in the coastal city for the tourist season to prevent criminal events.
"Today we did an analysis of both the Local Police Directorate and the Border Directorate, because you know very well that in the past we have had a number of problems related to the part covered by the local border directorate. And we prepare the tourist season now in January.
I want to guarantee all vacationers that we will choose Vlora again, and we agree that this year there will be an even greater number of tourists and in this context we are taking measures to make the 2024 tourist season a season of safety. with safe coast to face any kind of event that has created unpleasant incidents in the past. We have made an analysis and we have issued concrete tasks for the State Police in both directorates so that everything is according to plan" , said Balla.
In addition to road safety and fighting crime, Balla said that there will be additional forces to prevent arson.
