PD MP Tritan Shehu, in his speech in parliament, declared that the destruction of the Port of Durrës is an anti-national act.
Shehu emphasized that the destruction of the most important port in the country is synchronous with Chinese and Russian interests in the region. He further said that such acts seriously damage our poor budget, further impoverishing social sectors, poor and anti-social health.
"The destruction of the Port of Durrës, an anti-national act! Synchronous with Russian and Chinese interests in the Region. An act worthy of the regimes, which destroy the values, history, interests of the country! Albania thus loses its priority in the Adriatic. Traffic passes to Montenegro, where Russian and Chinese interests are strong.
Such acts cannot happen in democratic countries, at least a Referendum would be needed. It also severely damages our poor budget, further impoverishing social sectors, poor and anti-social health in our country. Albanians must oppose these dark and dangerous processes", said Shehu.
