According to the articles of 'Bloomberg', 'The New York Times' or 'Frankfurter Alemagne' 'Zeitung'; Jared Kouchner will be the main owner, but the management banner will be the well-known international company 'Aman'. A multinational company that has various actors, but is owned by a Russian oligarch, namely: Vladislav Yurievich Doronin. A controversial figure who has always been suspected of having ties to the head of the Kremlin...
Immediately after the publication of articles in the Western media on the possibility of a large investment in the island of Sazan by the son-in-law of Donald Trump with a super company run by a Russian oligarch, the intelligence services of NATO have alerted.
Diplomatic sources told 'Pamphlet' that the Albanian government has been asked for a full report regarding this affair, which is actually in a context that has to do with the security of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Only in 2019, the Albanian government asked NATO to use Pashaliman in the Gulf of Vlora, as a logistics base of the alliance.
NATO responded immediately, announcing that they would examine and evaluate it carefully.
But as is known, then the Covid-19 Pandemic broke out and the process was postponed.
Only this year, NATO has restarted the assessment process, and according to the likelihood, at the end of this year, or next year, there may be a concrete answer to this request of the Albanian government.
But in this logic, one should take into account the fact that if NATO accepts that Pashaliman is a tactical-logistic base, then the logistic operational capacity does not cover only the territory of the military base of Pashaliman. Strategically and tactically, that base is 'zero' if there is no control over the entire Gulf of Vlora, which includes the Karaburun peninsula and above all the island of Sazan.
It is these assets that make it possible to control the Bay of Vlora, which is considered a perfect reserve for controlling the Mediterranean. This is because it is a protected, deep sea, and above all it has the keys to the channel of Otranto, one of the most important maritime road junctions in the Mediterranean.
NATO, so far, has not issued a material, as it is waiting for an exhaustive explanation from the Albanian government, but the fact is that the alarm of the secret services has come either because of the fact of the triangle being broken with the island of Sazan changing its destination, or even because of the suspicions that fall on the company that will take control of the investment in Sazan.
A controversial figure who has always been suspected of ties to the head of the Kremlin.
It has been moved to Switzerland for years, where it has its central offices, namely in the city of Zug, where the offices of the gas company 'Nord Stream' are also located near it.
However, the 'Aman' company is an international consortium that has investments in the USA or in other NATO countries; as in Greece, Italy, Portugal, etc.
However, the issue of its installation in the Bay of Vlora has caused alarm, and for this purpose exhaustive clarification has been requested from the Albanian government. Which, through Edi Rama, has himself requested that NATO be installed in the Gulf of Vlora. A request that he now pretends to have forgotten, especially after the arrival of the offers for Karaburuni and Sazan, which the prime minister is handling without any transparency.
The island of Sazan, for 200 years, has been an important Mediterranean base of the greatest naval powers of the time, starting from Great Britain, Italy, Greece, the Soviet Union. Sazani used to be a military base, which has often been talked about that it can be given for tourism, but everything has remained within the framework of words.
This is because Sazani can be an attractive location but there are some significant problems such as the lack of beaches, strong winds and the lack of drinking water. But the most important issue is that more than a tourist attraction, it is a strategic military island.
Western services are very afraid that turning Sazan into an island of oligarchs without control could make it unmanageable.
As a reminder, the 'Aman' company, which is expected to manage Sazan, has been managing the island of St. Stephen in Montenegro for several years, which has never had strategic assets, but has always been a tourist and cultural site.
Today, St. Stefan has turned into a millionaire's pole and quite developed that brings in billions, but the space does not control the surrounding bay, apart from taking care of the environment, which is also the most important flag of its action./ Pamphlet
