Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said again today that Arben Ahmetaj has received threats to his life.
Berisha said that he got this information from the 'digital citizen'.
Berisha said that he has not communicated with Ahmetaj, but left open the possibility of communicating with him, saying that he can write to him on his phone.
"No. I have never communicated directly with Ahmetaj. If he wants, he can write anything on my phone. I received them from the digital citizen. These accusations were received by the digital citizen directly from Ahmetaj. I am certainly sensitive that Ahmetaj left presenting the threatening messages that had been sent to him. The prosecution should have investigated these messages further, were they part of the scenario of his departure. But I can say that Ahmetaj has informed, he is a man with many acquaintances, people to whom he confessed that he was accused even by criminals in prison cells", said Berisha.
The former prime minister continues with his allusions, saying that reliable sources have told him that an arrest warrant has been issued for Ahmetaj's roommate. Erjola Hoxha and his ex-wife, Albin Mançka," said Berisha.
